Cesar Fernandez (MoveMe): Simplifying global relocation

Cesar Fernandez, co-founder of MoveMe, explains how his Luxembourg-based platform simplifies global relocation for students and professionals through digital onboarding solutions. Focus on innovation, growth, and integration into national ecosystems.

Can you present your company in a few words?
MoveMe is a digital relocation platform simplifying onboarding for international students and professionals. From housing and banking to paperwork and checklists, we centralize the entire relocation journey in one user-friendly experience. Launched in Luxembourg, MoveMe is now active in multiple countries and trusted by universities, employers, and service providers to reduce administrative burdens and enhance user satisfaction.

How can Luxembourg’s ecosystem help you grow?

MoveMe has grown rapidly by solving a critical challenge: how to digitally onboard international talent with ease and efficiency. As Luxembourg continues to invest in talent attraction, digital public services, and innovation, it makes strategic sense to integrate a proven local solution like MoveMe into the national ecosystem. Similar approaches are already being adopted in countries like the Netherlands to support global talent integration. What sets MoveMe apart is our foundation in Luxembourg — through our Advisory and Directors boards, we combine over 30 years of relocation expertise with cutting-edge technology, designed specifically with the Luxembourg experience in mind. Supporting and scaling a homegrown solution not only strengthens local innovation, but also sends a strong signal that Luxembourg backs its startups when they deliver real impact

“Supporting and scaling a homegrown solution strengthens local innovation.”

How do you see your company evolving in the next 2 years?
MoveMe started as a fully bootstrapped initiative — launched with no funding and driven by personal experience, grit, and a clear vision to make relocation easier for students and professionals. From these humble beginnings, we’ve grown into a cross-border platform active in multiple countries, serving thousands of users and partnering with universities, service providers, and institutions. Over the next two years, we aim to consolidate our position as Europe’s leading digital onboarding platform, while scaling into the U.S. market in 2025. We’re also preparing to launch a mobile app and expand our AI capabilities to offer even more personalized, automated support. As we grow, we are committed to remain user-centred, building a solution that not only supports institutions but also genuinely reduces the stress of international relocation.
