How are your customers’ needs evolving?

As a company active in the field of high precision specialized measurement, our customers are asking increasing performance, reliability, security and sustainability from our solutions.

Concretely, the satellite ground segment market is characterized by a need to transmit more and more data in a highly secure way between a ground station and the satellite. Our carbon black testing equipment customers want to measure more recycled and sustainable raw materials while increasing digitalization to enable smart mobility is strongly influencing our traffic management solutions. Finally, the mission critical solutions for humanitarian relief organizations to reestablish communications after a crisis need to be more and more robust and multi mission capable as crises worldwide become more complex.

How do you see your company evolving in the next 5 years?

Continuing to innovate in all our business areas to closely follow our customers’ evolving needs will remain a clear priority for HITEC. The benefits from being located in Luxembourg and the favorable environment the government has established for innovating companies will also stay a clear differentiator for us. We invest a substantial part of our revenues into developing new solutions, through national and international research and development consortia. This will help us staying at the forefront of technological development integrating the latest advances in satellite and terrestrial communication, artificial intelligence, autonomous systems and data encryption into our solutions. To integrate these technologies, HITEC will increasingly become a system integrator of its own and third party products and services providing solutions tailored to fit evolving customer needs.
